West Ham is currently lining up a £6m bid for Chelsea’s Nigerian winger Victor Moses, according to the London Evening Standard.
The Hammers have suffered back-to-back home defeats by Leicester City and newcomers Bournemouth since their opening day win away to Arsenal, and manager Slaven Bilic is keen on improving his team before the close of the transfer window.
Chelsea value Moses at around £10m. The Blues had earlier intended to keep the former Crystal Palace winger, but are now very likely to seal a deal for the 24-year-old following Pedro’s arrival last week.
Moses, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012 from Wigan Athletics, made 19 Premier League appearances on loan at Stoke City last season.
His start to the 2015-16 campaign has been delayed by a knock he picked up in training, but could return for the English champions against his former club Palace this weekend.
