After a fine start to the season, Liverpool have struggled in recent weeks. Since the start of 2017, Jurgen Klopp’s side have won just one of seven games in all competitions and that lone victory came against League Two side Plymouth Argyle.
Fixture congestion appears to have taken a toll on a stretched Anfield squad, as has the departure of Sadio Mane to the African Nations Cup: Liverpool have scored just four goals in six games without the Senegalese forward.
With all that said, Klopp’s side remain fourth in the Premier League, just two points off second place. Will they still be in the Champions League positions at the end of the season?
