Popular music executive Don Jazzy has opened up on why he deliberately avoids specific Nigerian artists’ concerts. He recently compared the unsafe atmosphere at some shows to the calm and respectful environment at his signee Johnny Drille’s latest show.
Highlighting a growing security concern at some Nigerian shows, Don Jazzy noted that despite not taking money to Drille’s concert, he still wasn’t harassed.

The Mavin Records owner concluded by emphasizing unsafe behaviour from fans at certain shows, including theft.
His words, “Johnny Drille has an amazing community. It’s just one of those shows where I can literally go, and I don’t necessarily have to carry money because nobody would disturb me. There are some fans that if you go to some of their concerts, you will not come out in the same way. If you wear wristwatch or something, you’ll not come out with it.”
WOW.
