Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has assured residents that agents of President Bola Tinubu will ensure the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope mandate in Abuja.
Wike gave the assurance on Monday during the flag-off of the construction of Access Roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in Mabushi District, Abuja.
The minister said the administration’s vision is to transform the capital city into a world-class metropolis, comparable to other global capitals.

“We give God Almighty appreciation to be here to construct this all-important road. In terms of infrastructure, Abuja would compete with other known cities of the world,” Wike said.
He urged residents to continue supporting President Tinubu, stressing that the President’s commitment to modernising the capital was evident in the projects being executed.
“Let’s continue to thank Mr President for his love and his commitment to make our city capital what it is truly meant to be.
Our duty is to encourage our people to ensure that everything Mr President has outlined is completed with your support.
“We as agents are here to implement Mr President’s mission and vision — what the Renewed Hope agenda has for the people of Nigeria and, in particular, the Federal Capital Territory,” he added.
Responding to criticisms that his administration focuses heavily on road construction, Wike insisted the projects are proof of tangible progress.
“So many people have accused us of constructing roads. I said that’s one thing good — at least you have identified that something is going on,” the minister stated.
