Manchester United women goalkeeper, Mary Earps has come out to say that winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award was a night she will never forget. She recently had her say via her social media page, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, she has taken a couple of days to try and take it all in, and she feels extremely honored to even be nominated alongside such an incredible list of athletes.
Earps added that she is truly overwhelmed by the love and support she keeps receiving from MUFC fans.
His words, “A special night with special people, one I’ll never forget. I’ve taken a couple of days to try and take it all in, but wow.. to be nominated alongside such an incredible list of athletes was more than enough, let alone take home the trophy. An incredible way to round off an incredible year. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I’m truly overwhelmed by your love and support.
