Manchester United are making good progress under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the team is now ready to challenge for major trophies, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has said.
The Englishman recently talked up the prospect of Mufc adding to their trophy cabinet once again after 2 trophyless seasons ahead of the Manchester Derby.
According to him, he came to Man Utd to win trophies even if he knows that it will be a process.
He added that winning one trophy will inspire Mufc to win more and that is why the first trophy under the new manager is important.
His words, “I think we’re in a better position than when I joined,”
“We didn’t start off great at first, not as the club is expected to do, so I think we’re moving in the right direction now. I’m very excited about the future. I think we’re getting closer to reaching our target.
“I came to this club to win trophies and I know that this team is capable of winning trophies. I think it’s a process. We’re going in the right direction and that’s what we’re aiming for.”
“It will boost our confidence and help us go on to the next [one]. That’s how Ole wants us to think, he wants us to get our first trophy, move on to the next one and just keep going for others.”
On his rate of tackling in the EPL, “I think I’m second at the moment, and I’m happy with that for now, just to be right up there,”
“First place is the target by the end of the season!
“It’s going in the direction that I want it to go. I’m working hard and improving my game all of the time, and I just want to continue doing that.”
