With less than 72 hours to the end of his tenure, President Goodluck Jonathan showed no signs of slowing down in the task of governance as he signed the Tobacco Control bill into law.
The president, who will hand over to President-elect Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, May 29, appended his signature to the bill alongside five others, his spokesperson, Reuben Abati, announced on Twitter, Wednesday.

The signing is his largest in his six years as President but follows a similar pattern that saw him sign the FOI Bill into law at the twilight of his tenure in 2011.
