Popular Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has come out to mock Wizkid for struggling to change his name over the years. He recently had his say while speaking during the latest AY live event, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Wizkid keeps failing to change his stage name because he obviously never considered when he’ll be much older and he’ll no longer be seen as a kid.
The comedian added that Davido should be appreciated for being original enough to use his real name as his stage name.
His words, “Wizkid give himself wizkid him forget say him go grow old. Now he is struggling to change the name, nobody gree – machala, na lie you are a Wizkid. Big Bird, na lie, you’re a kid. Wizkid no be as e dey be for. Be for him dey whine waist, dey go choreography on top stage.
David has been consistent. He even used his real name, Davido. Consistent for years. David has been going on stage with a 100 people. Till today him still maintain that number.”
