Wizkid has entered the Guinness book of world records.
He has added his name to the few Nigerians in the Guinness book of world record after his collaboration record with Drake, “One Dance” became the most streamed song on Spotify globally.
Wizkid played a key role in the creation of the single.
Nigeria’s name was first put on the list in 2006 after Kafayat Shafau (Kaffy) got the record for longest dance in the world. After this, Harrison Chinedu, Chidra Annemega and Obi Ajuanumo also earned records for different achievements.
Drake’s “Views” was streamed 2.6 billion times on Spotify in 2016. Released in April 2016, the LP’s most popular tracks include “Controlla”, “Too Good” (feat. Rihanna) and “One Dance” (feat. Wizkid & Kyla), the most streamed track in Spotify’s history (1.1 billion) as of 26 April 2017.
