The Yobe State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinunu’s nomination of Senator Ibrahim Geidam as a minister from the state.
On Friday, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, the party’s state chairman, commended the nominee in a statement sent by his press secretary, Hajiya Sa’adatu Maina.
According to Gadaka, Geidam’s nomination is good news.
As a result of his extensive background, the state’s ruling party had high hopes for the nominee’s performance in his new role as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Allah (SWT) is with you at the outset of your ministerial career, and He will remain so throughout its entirety. As God wills.
“It is our belief that the prospective ministry to which you will be posted will experience rapid growth under your leadership,” the party added.
It was just last week that Tinubu submitted the red chamber his second set of ministerial nominations, including Geidam, the sitting senator for Yobe East Senatorial District in Yobe State.
