A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Prince Buruji Kashamu, has disowned posters portraying him as eyeing the governorship election in Ogun State come 2015.
He spoke on the backdrop of the emergence of his posters all over the state.
Kashamu, who is Chairman, Organization and Mobilization Committee of the PDP in the Southwest, said he had nothing to do with the posters.
According to a report by The Nation, Kashamu insisted that he was not nursing a governorship ambition, saying he prays instead, for persons, who would better the lot of the people, to emerge governors in the six Southwest states.
He noted that about a week ago, over 2,000 people paid him a visit, urging him to contest the 2015 governorship poll, but he declined.
Kashamu, however, said he can help in making decisions that would enthrone the right leaders in the Southwest.
