The campaign train of Omooba Sunday Solarin FCA, the Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly Candidate for Ikenne State Constituency, takes off at wards 8 & 9 Secretariats, Ilishan Remo, today, February 7, 2019.
While addressing party members who had gathered to be part of the historic moment, which to them, signalled the beginning of the prosperous journey of the constituency, Solarin lamented the state of affairs in the gateway state describing it as very sad and unfortunate. He wondered how a government would be in power for 8 years and the people would not feel its impact in the least form.
The former Chairman of PDP, Ikenne LG, equally berated the APC government for total incarceration of the local government administration in the state, a situation he claimed was responsible for the complete infrastructural decay of the once buoyant state and destination of choice for investors and foreigners.
Solarin, however, expressed his desire to offer good representation at Ogun State House of Assembly and pledged his readiness to join hands with the state executive government to usher in a good pedigree of prosperity to the people of Ikenne State constituency and the state in general.
Among the political chieftains that attended the ward rallies included Hon Kayode Ogunderu, Chairman, IKLG Collegiate, Apagun Seye Sonuga, former Vice Chairman, IKLG, Hon Kamorudeen Ariyo, Chairman, PDP IKLG, Alhaji Supo Ogunlesi, Hon Kehinde Awobade, Hon Solomon Salami, Pa Solarin, Alhaji Akeem Adesoye and Mrs Comfort Awosipe.
