The Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Ogun State Chapter, Comrade Olaposi Oginni, in a condolence message released to pressmen, expressed shock at the sudden demise of the former 8th Assembly Senate member, Senator Buruji Kashamu.
In the release signed by the IPAC Publicity Secretary, Adedeji Babington-Ashaye, Comrade Oginni described the transition of Senator Kashamu as a great loss to his family, the people of Ijebu Igbo and Ogun State in general.
” A great vacuum is today created in Ogun State political arena. With the death of Senator Buruji Kashamu, Ogun State politics will never remain the same again”. Kashamu was a politician, businessman and philanthropist whose contributions to the development of humanity will not be forgotten”, he said.
Oginni commiserated with his immediate family and all members of the Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with the prayers that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He, also, prayed to Allah to forgive Senator Buruji Kashamu’s sins and grant him eternal rest.
