A senior Iranian official has issued a warning, stating that Israel’s embassies are no longer safe and should not be considered as a safe haven.
The warning was delivered by Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, as reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
Safavi emphasized that Tehran sees confrontation with Israel as a legitimate and legal right.

This warning comes in the wake of heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, with Iran vowing revenge after an airstrike destroyed its consulate in Damascus, killing at least 11 people, including a senior commander in the al-Quds force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
In a related development, Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency published a graphic showcasing nine different types of Iranian missiles it claims are capable of hitting Israel.
Israel has not confirmed its involvement in the strike on Damascus.
