Nollywood actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her spiritual journey. Tonto recently revealed that she has the Holy Spirit to thank for healing her from personal struggles that almost ruined her life.
In an emotional Instagram post, she shared how God saved her from sexual immorality, anger and other personal battles.
According to her, she is grateful for the grace to embrace celibacy when she did because it helped her train herself to avoid intimacy without love completely.
Stressing that celibacy is currently her source of strength, she stated that true love should never be rushed.
“Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life.
I trained my heart to be disgusted by intimacy without love, because true love is patient and holy,” she wrote.
The moviestar further noted that her new lifestyle is the reason she hears God more clearly nowadays.
Tonto concluded by thanking her Creator for blessing her with the kind of peace that has completely transformed her life.
“What was lost can be found again in His mercy.
Doors open before I knock. Protocols are lifted for my sake. It is not luck. It is grace in motion.
My peace is now sacred. If it does not feed my spirit, it does not deserve my energy,” she added.
