Loving Myself Is My Biggest Blessing – Eddie Murphy

Legendary Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy has said that his biggest blessing is that he loves himself. He recently gave a rare interview to detail his 50-year acting career, and fans have been reacting.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Eddie shared that being his own biggest fan has been his reality from the very beginning of his life.

According to him, unlike people who only end up loving themselves after struggling to do so for many years, he started out loving himself and what he represents on Earth.

He stated that appreciating himself as a kid helped him make good decisions concerning his life as an adult.

“My most important blessing is that I love myself.

I’ve always loved myself, always been my biggest fan. That’s at the core of all of the decisions that you make. Some people go through their whole lives and get to the end and say, ‘I finally love myself.’ I started out that way,” he said.

Murphy further credited his self-love practice for shielding him from deadly drug and alcohol addictions that claimed the lives of so many of his comedic heroes and peers.

The moviestar concluded by saying that he feels lucky to still be around and active after 50 long years.

“In a business where people come and go, most people don’t get 50 years.

Being Eddie is a great thing. It’s just a unique life that I’ve had,” he added.
