The younger brother of notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Shehu Bagiwaye, has reportedly been killed during a clash between local vigilantes and suspected bandits in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The incident was disclosed on Tuesday by security analyst Bakatsine in a post on his X handle.
According to him, the confrontation occurred on Tuesday morning after suspected bandits attacked Dogon Kade community in Kaura Namoda LGA.

Bakatsine said local vigilantes engaged the attackers in a fierce gun battle and successfully repelled the assault.
Citing local sources, he claimed that several of the suspected bandits were killed during the exchange of gunfire, including Alhaji Tukur, who was identified as the younger brother of Kachalla Shehu Bagiwaye.
“This morning, vigilantes repelled a bandit attack in Dogon Kade, Kaura Namoda LGA of Zamfara State. According to local sources, scores of bandits were killed during the clash, including Alhajj Tukur, a younger brother of notorious bandit leader Kachalla Shehu Bagiwaye,” Bakatsine wrote.
The security analyst commended the vigilantes for their continued efforts in protecting communities from recurring bandit attacks in the area.
The incident has not been officially confirmed by security authorities as of the time of filing this report.
