Former Argentina forward Angel Di Maria has comforted Lionel Messi and his teammates after the team’s painful extra-time defeat against Spain. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
Defending the squad’s incredible display throughout the tournament, Di Maria insisted that one poor match will not diminish their standing as icons of the nation.
Angel added that the whole of Argentina is proud of the committed players for putting their bodies on the line for the nation.
