Manchester United legend Roy Keane has blasted Lisandro Martinez after the defender publicly questioned the club’s ambition following their UCL defeat against Atlético Madrid. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

Branding his old club a circus at the moment, Keane told the struggling centre-back to improve his own performances before attacking others.

Stressing that Martinez‘s outburst perfectly encapsulates a much wider problem, Roy added that the timing and nature of the criticism were very wrong.

His words, “I think as a reflection of the club, it’s obviously chaos there, like a bit of a circus.

When you’re going through a difficult spell like United are, the issue I have with certain players saying things is you always have to start with the man in the mirror before you start coming out with all these comments.
