In response to recent claims circulating in the media, the Action Alliance (AA) categorically rejects assertions that the Federal High Court in Abuja recognized Kenneth Udeze as the national chairman.
The party insists that Dr. Adekunle Rufai Omoaje remains the only legitimate and acknowledged national chairman.
National Publicity Secretary Comrade Olu Omotoso issued a statement denouncing a newspaper publication that erroneously reported Udeze as the national chairman.

Omotoso emphasized that such misleading information creates confusion and discord within the party.
Omotoso reiterated that the Court of Appeal previously affirmed Dr. Omoaje as the rightful chairman, with key stakeholders, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies, duly recognizing Omoaje.
Udeze, having faced suspension and expulsion from the party, saw his challenges to these decisions dismissed by various courts.
The statement highlighted the Court of Appeal’s explicit declaration of Dr. Omoaje as the authentic national chairman of the Action Alliance, expressing bewilderment at the perceived contradiction by the Federal High Court.
Dismissing claims that the Federal High Court ruling resolved a leadership crisis, Omotoso asserted that the case before the court did not pertain to a leadership struggle.
He criticized the newspaper’s report as unbalanced, alleging it to be sponsored with the intent of serving the sponsor’s interests, laden with inaccuracies and falsehoods.
“It should be known that the Appeal Court had since settled the leadership tussle against the claim of the newspaper.
The interpretation given by the journalist who wrote the news was completely off the point. It was a total misrepresentation of the judgment.” – Omotoso clarified.
