Ghana midfielder, Andre Ayew has come out to make a big claim about the continental competition. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he believes the AFCON tournament is even harder than the World Cup, so his fellow Ghanaian players must be ready to fight together on the pitch.
Ayew added that fight, determination and energy are all needed to make the country proud in Ivory Coast.
His words, “This tournament is even harder than the World Cup.
We know that it is the hardest tournament, for me, in the World Cup when it comes to fighting, determination, and energy.
So the only way we can do this is by being together and being united, and for that Your Excellency, I can assure you that we are united and we want to do it.”
