African Development Bank Group Appoints Key Officials

The African Development Bank Group has announced the appointment of some persons to serve in prominent units under the office of the president of the African Development Bank. The African Development Bank Group made this known today on it’s website.

The African development bank announced the appointment of Ms. Yacine Fal, a citizen of senegal, as the director-general cabinet office of the African development bank’ president. The appointment which takes effect on the 1st of November 2020, was announced today with the official duties of Ms. Yacine in respect of her new position clearly stated.

According to the African Dvelopment Bank Group, Ms. Yacine will as from 1st November 2020, oversee the administrative and operational work and activities of the cabinet office of the African development bank. In addition, she her responsibility is to provide oversight of units and departments and give reports to the president.

The African development bank group also stated that among her official duties is the facilitation of enhanced delivery efficiency and effectiveness for all presidential initiatives and bank operations.In his remarks, the president of the African development bank, Dr Akinwumi A. Adesina, noted Ms. Yacine is capable manager who brings her experience in the African development bank to function in her new office.

Also appointed is Dr Alex Mubiru. Dr Alex has been appointed as the director for strategy and delivery in the office of the president and his appointment is to take effect as on the 1st November 2020. Dr ex who is currently the country’ manager of the African development bank at the United Republic of Tanzania, is a citizen of Uganda.

In his words, Dr Alex stated that he is delighted to work with the president of the African development bank, in a bid to support his vision and strategy for the African development bank.
