Barely two days after a 20-year-old hotel worker was electrocuted in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, while attempting to fix an electrical fault, another man, Garba Mallam of Sabuwar-Maranjuwa quarters in Dutse, was electrocuted yesterday while repairing a water pumping machine.
The State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Dr. Muhammad Gidado, made this known while speaking with reporters in Dutse.
According to him, Garba, 25, was electrocuted while repairing a water pumping machine at the resident of one Abdullahi Bello.
The commandant told journalists that Garba died as he was being rushed to the hospital.
