According to Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, all Tarabans need to pay close attention to the state’s economic growth.
He felt that it was imperative for state natives living in other regions of the country and the world to return home and contribute to the state’s rapid development.
The governor made these remarks over the weekend during a meeting with various stakeholders, in which he urged all emigrants with state ties to help his administration tackle the state’s economic and security challenges.
He stressed the importance of efforts that promote productivity, peaceful coexistence, and economic development as the means by which his administration hopes to gain their support.
Taraba State’s economic growth is an important issue that needs our attention. From its bountiful soil to its rich cultural potential, Taraba is a place with enormous promise.
Let’s pool our resources to foster youth entrepreneurship, fund strategic industries, and train the next generation of business leaders.
Kefas argued that this would help the Taraban people and the state as a whole.
Barrister Gebon T. Kataps, the Secretary of the Government of the State (SGS), lent his support to the governor and urged state natives residing elsewhere to accept the governor’s offer of reconciliation.
