The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed claims that it is responsible for the internal crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating that the opposition party is collapsing due to its own failures.
APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, made this assertion on Tuesday while speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time programme.
Morka criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other PDP leaders for blaming the APC instead of addressing their party’s internal challenges.

“The PDP is imploding, and that is clear to everyone. But it is not because of the APC or anything we have done,” he said.
“The APC is busy minding its business, sorting out its internal issues, and building cohesion. The PDP should do the same instead of pointing fingers at us.”
His remarks follow Atiku’s allegation that President Bola Tinubu’s government paid N50 million each to certain opposition figures to weaken Nigeria’s democratic process.
However, Morka reiterated APC’s earlier denial of the claim, insisting that the ruling party has no involvement in the PDP’s troubles.
“Only very bad workmen blame their tools. The PDP has shown itself utterly incapable of managing its internal affairs. How can they claim to be fit to govern Nigeria when they cannot even handle their own internal issues?” he added.
The APC maintained that it remains focused on governance and party-building, urging the PDP to take responsibility for its internal discord instead of looking for scapegoats.
