Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), has extended an invitation to Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State to join the APC.
Ganduje made this statement during an address to stakeholders of the party in Kano on Thursday.
Ganduje urged Governor Yusuf, along with members from the NNPP, to consider defecting to the ruling APC at the national level, emphasizing the potential for significant political growth in the state through this move.

“We are working tirelessly to ensure more members of the National Assembly from Kano State and other political parties join hands with the progressives, as the doors of the party remain open for all,” Ganduje stated, highlighting the party’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for defectors to contribute to the overall political growth of the party and the state.
Assuring the people of Kano State of the federal government’s dedication to policies and programs that enhance their well-being,
Ganduje also hinted at the possibility of other governors and members of the National Assembly from different political parties joining the APC in the near future.
In response to the Supreme Court’s judgement on the Kano governorship election, Ganduje affirmed the party’s acceptance of the verdict and lauded President Bola Tinubu for his support.
He emphasized the APC’s commitment to creating a strong platform that unites its members and welcomes new entrants.
Ganduje reiterated the APC’s openness to welcoming new members across the country and abroad, citing the party’s track record of good governance and promises fulfilled.
He expressed the stakeholders’ commitment to engaging in dialogues with individuals, groups, or political parties interested in joining the APC to enhance unity, progress, and development in Kano State.
