Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari has told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal that ex-Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar was a Cameroonian the recent polls.
He shared that Jada, the hometown of Atiku was in Adamawa Province, a location that was owned by Northern Cameroon in 1946 when Atiku was born.
Abba said that Atiku was already in the world in 1946 before the plebiscite was conducted in 1961 aided the separation of Nigeria and Cameroon.
As for the status of Buhari’s Certificate, Abba said he was the one who went to collect the Cambridge University West Africa Examination Certificate of the president on July 18 as more evidence.
His words, “I can confirm that I was the one that collected and signed the Cambridge University West Africa Examination Certificate on behalf of the president on July 18, 2019,”
APC and Buhari recently begged the tribunal to throw out PDP’s petition for allowing a non-Nigerian to contest the presidential election.
They revealed that the constitution prohibits it and so the appropriate punishments have to follow.
