President Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Atiku AbubakarLawyer to the defeated presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has revealed that his client has filed a petition to challenge President Buhari’s win at the recent elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Buhari the winner of the presidential election which held on February 23, 2019.

Atiku has however refused to accept the results and promised to contest it in court.

Uche shared that the process has begun, but refused to shed more light.

On March 6, 2019, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal ordered INEC to allow Atiku inspect the materials used in the presidential election.

However, the PDP, on Saturday, March 16, 2019, raised an alarm saying that INEC has refused to grant its presidential candidate access to inspect the materials.

But the electoral commission immediately responded that Atiku Abubakar will be able to inspect the elections materials when they receive a court order to that effect.
