A media adviser to the ex-vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe has come out to say that Atiku’s son who recently tested positive for coronavirus did not visit any club in Abuja before he got diagnosed.
Paul shared this in a recent press statement reacting to the circulating report that the former president’s son, Mohammed Atiku Abubakar, visited a club in Abuja.
According to him, Mohammed did not attend the Friday Jumu’a prayers nor any social gathering until he was taken to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital where he is being treated and managed.
He added that Nigerians should ignore any misinformation that the boy was visited Play Lounge nor any other club in Abuja and possibly spread it to other Nigerians who were present.
His words, “The case neither attended the Friday Jumu’a prayers nor any social gathering until his evacuation to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital on the 20th where he is being treated and managed.”
“We urge members of the public to disregard the perfidious information that the case accessed open location. He was not at Play Lounge nor any other club in Abuja as being mischievously bandied about.
“The case neither attended the Friday Jumu’a prayers nor any social gathering until his evacuation to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital on the 20th where he is being treated and managed.”
