Gunmen suspected to be bandits have stormed Federal Government College, Birnin-Yauri in Kebbi State and abducted an unspecified number of students and four teachers. Four Chinese railway workers working on the Lagos-Ibadan railway have been kidnapped. On Wednesday, India’s information technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at Twitter; accusing it of not complying with new regulations for social media sites that came into effect last month. Amazon is appealing to social media companies to help curb the spread of fake reviews on its site. Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have killed 12 people in an attack on Kuru community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
