The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has flagged off the National Young Farmers’ Scheme. The scheme was designed by the National Agricultural Land Development Authority. The Central Bank has opposed a suit seeking the removal of Arabic inscriptions on naira notes. The CBN through its lawyer raised the defense before the Federal High Court that it would cost the country a whopping sum to print new naira notes devoid of Arabic inscriptions. The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has been informed that local Chinese authorities have proved the traces of Covid-19 found in shipments of imported frozen food from Brazil and Ecuador . According to NAFDAC, the frozen chicken wings, in which COVID-19 was allegedly found, originated from a plant owned by Aurora, a poultry exporter in Brazil. Information has reached the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) from United Kingdom Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), of the withdrawal of one batch of high blood pressure medication, Amlodipine 10mg tablets manufactured by Accord Healthcare Limited.
