Main opposition party of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, PDP has asked INEC to stop the collation of the results currently going on in the country. They have also ordered the electoral body to cancel the results in Borno, Yobe and Zamfara states. Officially, Godswill Akpabio, a senator from Akwa Ibom State, has failed in his quest to return to the senate for another term. Muhammadu Buhari has emerged victorious in 2 out of 7 LGAs in Bayelsa State. The two LGAs are Nembe and Southern-Ijaw, according to INEC. Atiku Abubakar has emerged winner ahead of Muhammadu Buhari according to results of the Presidential elections in Benue State, announced by INEC. Benue State Collation/Returning Officer, Prof. Sabastine Maimako, today, revealed that Atiku got a total of 355,255 while Buhari was a close second with 347,668 votes. President Muhammadu Buhari has emerged victorious in the presidential elections in Kano State, surpassing Atiku with more than 1, 073, 175m.votes. INEC recently announced that the senatorial election in Imo North, has been declared inconclusive. This is the latest decision 48 hours after the INEC office in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area in that particular district was set on fire by political thugs.
