President Muhammadu Buhari has been declared winner of the presidential elections in Ogun state. The State Collation Officer for the Presidential election, Prof. Joseph Adeola-Fuwape revealed results at the INEC headquarters in Abeokuta on Monday and Buhari polled 281,762 votes while Peoples Democratic Party received 194,655 votes. Civil society groups keeping tabs on Nigeria’s presidential election said today that 39 people have lost their lives in violence linked to election activities.
