The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has increased the pump price of petrol from initial N141 to N145. According to report, the N4 increase will apply to all the NNPC’s mega stations. Until now, NNPC have sold petrol at N141 per litre at all its mega stations. The 4,358.2 megawatts (MW) of electricity that was generated as at Sunday, October 16, has further dropped. According to the Nigerian Electricity System Operator of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) website, electricity dropped to 4,157.80MW on Monday. It explained that the lowest energy generation recorded was 3,186MW, while highest generation was 4,358.2MW.
