The former aide of ex President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has slammed the Federal Government over the continued detention of Reuben Abati.
Abati, a former aide of Jonathan, was picked up by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly collecting N50m from Sambo Dasuki.
Omokri, in a tweet, wondered why the Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi is walking free, after allegedly spending N500m on a party for Prof. Wole Soyinka.
He said “Reuben Abati allegedly got ₦50 million from Dasuki and goes to jail. Rotimi Amaechi admittedly spent $500k on Soyinka & becomes a minister!”
Reuben Abati is still in EFCC’s custody, despite meeting his bail condition, reports say.
