The Adamawa State Government on Friday announced that it has earmarked N200 million to engage prayer warriors in seeking divine intervention towards ending the state’s lingering security challenges. The Senate on Thursday embarked on another recess, which will last six weeks. Since the inauguration of the 8th National Assembly in June, Senators have gone on recess four times, without debating any bill. Likewise, they have only sat for 15 days in two months. The Senate on Thursday approved a $75 million World Bank loan for Edo state’s Development Policy Operation (DPO) as requested by President Muhammadu Buhari.
