Troops, weekend, killed 28 suspected militants in response to an attack last month which saw six soldiers gruesomely murdered, the military said Monday. Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State yesterday said his administration spent N50bn on payment of pensions within four years. The governor made this position known during the commissioning of three warehouses built by the Kano Pension Trustees Fund at the cost of N298million at Kano Free Trade Zone, Panisau in Ungoggo LGA of the state.
