The Kano State Zakkat Commission says the state government has earmarked N10 million to assist the less privileged in its 2015 budget proposal. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has cautioned politicians in the country against sending frivolous petitions to the commission. The Head, Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement on Tuesday, the commission would not allow itself to be used as tool for political victimasation ahead of next month’s general elections.
