The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has called for investigation into the circumstances of the detention of a Russian Antonov cargo aircraft, which landed at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Saturday, and the alleged presence of former Borno State Governor, Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff at the Kano airport while the aircraft was impounded. The Kogi High Court sitting in Koton-Karfe on Monday nullified the May 4, 2013 Local Government Elections conducted in the state by the State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC). The judgement was delivered in two hours, eight minutes by Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye. The Infrastructure Bank Plc has raised N50 billion as first tranche of the proposed N167 billion funding for the rehabilitation of the Lagos-Ibadan dual carriageway.
