The apex umbrella body for northern youths, Arewa Youths Consultative Forum has criticised youth groups endorsing President Goodluck Jonathan and campaigning for him to secure another term in office, despite the spate of insecurity in the country. The Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State on Sunday said the Nigeria military was competent to tackle the insurgency problem in the country. At least 20 persons have been feared dead and scores of others injured when Fulani herdsmen allegedly invaded Tunari village in Wukari Local Government of Taraba State yesterday.
