Ekiti State Police command has dismissed two police officers, Mr Famiwole Tolulope and Mr Olotu Tope from service with immediate effect over their involvement in corrupt practices. The Senate has received a letter from President Goodluck Jonathan nominating the Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Osita Chidoka and one Abubakar Olanrewaju as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If confirmed, the FRSC boss, who hails from Anambra State, might replace the ex-Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, who was dropped from the Federal Executive Council alongside three others in February, 2014 over allegations of abuse of office.
