The Senate has received a letter from President Goodluck Jonathan nominating the Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Osita Chidoka and one Abubakar Olanrewaju as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
If confirmed, the FRSC boss, who hails from Anambra State, might replace the ex-Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, who was dropped from the Federal Executive Council alongside three others in February, 2014 over allegations of abuse of office.
Recall that the president had on Wednesday sworn in ex-Kano State governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and three others as ministers.
Details later.
