Sen. Remi Tinubu has donated 20,000 US dollars (N3.2 million) as take-off fund to assist Nigerian students studying in various universities in the United Kingdom. Gunmen believed to be Fulani herdsmen stormed a meeting in northern Nigeria’s Zamfara state and killed 30 people, police said Sunday. “Thirty people were killed and several others injured”, Zamfara state police spokesman Lawal Abdullahi told AFP. “The incident happened in Galadima yesterday during a meeting of community leaders and representatives of vigilante groups”, who were discussing ways to thwart armed robbers and cattle rustlers, he said. Ebikeme Clark, son of elder statesman, Chief Edwin K. Clark has finally regained freedom after spending days in the den of his abductors. Mr Clark was kidnapped in Kiagbodo Community in Bomadi, Delta State last Wednesday. DSP Tina Kalu, the Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command reportedly confirmed that Ebikeme was released around midnight on Saturday.
