…Dedicate it to late Ken Atsuwete.
“The granting of bail to the APC chieftain, Hon. Ojukaye Flag-Amachree by the Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt Thursday signifies the pre-eminence of good over evil; it confirms that the triumph of evil over good is only but temporary” said Rivers APC in a statement signed by its Spokesman, Chris Finebone.
According to the statement, “For the members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State and beyond, today reaffirms our belief in what the late sage, Haile Selassie said that “Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.”
Continuing, the party said, “Today, the voice of justice did not only come loud but sounded strongly and widely enough to be heard in far and near places saying that Hon. Ojukaye Flag-Amachree has a right to freedom; indeed the voice of justice sounded it very loud that the handiwork of evil men contrived in the darkest parts of their secret coven has no power over the righteous.
“The APC hails this decision by the Appeal Court and pray that this should signpost the beginning of return of justice to the downtrodden and the common man.
“We salute the indefatigable and undying spirit of Ojukaye Flag-Amachree despite the relentless schemes of the enemy to break him down physically and spiritually. We also greet the unshakable solidarity of the generality of APC members in Rivers State for standing and speaking out for the freedom for Ojukaye. Indeed, the APC returns all the glory and adoration to the Almighty God, the real defender of the innocent and weak. And with very heavy heart, the entire APC fold dedicates this victory to the very courageous legal fighter who laid his life for this cause – late Barr. Ken Atsuwete. God bless his soul!”
