Moses Siasia on Wednesday emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) in the forthcoming December 5 governorship election in Bayelsa state.
The 35-year old entrepreneur won the party’s primary held at Atlantic Choice Hotel, Yenegoa.
Siasia dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in August, noting that young people have no future in the party.
On winning the PDM ticket, Siasia pledged to liberate the state from the shackles of oppression, debt and inept leadership.
He promised to create thousands of jobs for youths in the state and also make education attractive.
Siasia reiterated his commitment to pursuing the implementation of policies that would create the enabling environment for employment generation, wealth creation. He also promised to prioritize education, healthcare delivery, urban renewal, agriculture and industrial development.
