U.S. President Joe Biden has called on Americans to ensure that his predecessor, Donald Trump, does not return to the White House.
Biden emphasized that the only way to prevent Trump from reclaiming the presidency is through the ballot box.
Trump, who served as President from 2017 to 2021, was defeated by Biden in the last election but has announced his intention to run again in the November 5, 2024 election.
Posting on X, Biden stated, “There’s only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: At the ballot box. Donate to our campaign today.”
He further highlighted the significance of voter turnout, especially among Black Americans, writing, “Folks, if anyone is wondering whether your vote matters, remember this: Because Black Americans voted, I am president, Kamala Harris is a historic vice president, and Donald Trump is a loser.”
Biden’s comments come in the wake of a U.S. court convicting Trump on all 34 charges of falsifying business records to conceal a payment intended to silence porn star Stormy Daniels.
