Manchester United have wrapped up the €55 million (£47m/$60m) signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting, with the midfielder signing a five-and-a-half year contract at Old Trafford.
Club manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the Portuguese a top priority for January and he has finally gotten his man.
With Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay out through injury, the Red Devils needed more quality in an important area of the field and Bruno was the man tipped to come in and do a job.
The club is paying for Bruno’s present ability and future potential, and the player will be expected to hit the ground running as soon as possible to save the club’ s season.
Ole had this to say about his club needing goals recently, “We need more goalscorers, more goals, someone who wants to break their nose or toe to score.
“It doesn’t always have to be nice goals. I need to challenge them more.”
