Bruno Fernandes will surely cost above €62 million (£56m/$70m) according to Sporting C.P. president Frederico Varandas, amid rumors of the Portuguese from Manchester United.
Man Utd have been linked with the midfielder with coach Ole Gunnar Solskajer viewing him as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba if the Frenchman leaves.
Recent reports have said Man Utd are readying a bid in the region of £56m ($70m), therefore the statements from the president is hinting at the fact that the bid will be turned down.
Frederico Varandas had this to say, “I don’t know if there are many or if there are few [interested clubs],”
“What I know, a lot has been spoken of values, coming to the press, €55m, €62m… for that he doesn’t leave, for sure.
“If Bruno Fernandes leaves, players with quality will come. But if Bruno leaves.”
