President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) has suspended the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, David Parradang, with immediate effect.
Parradang’s suspension was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Interior, Mr. Yusuf Isiaka Alhaji, on behalf of the permanent secretary of the ministry on Friday in Abuja.
According to the statement, Deputy Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr. Martin Kure Abeshi, had been directed to take over the affairs of the service.
Abeshi is the most senior officer after Parradang, the statement added.
