The Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, on Friday resumed work after about two weeks short vacation.
According to multiple reports, Kyari, who was rumoured to have been sent on compulsory leave, resumed his official duty, dismissing reports that he was suspended.
It was further reported that Kyari jokingly asked State House correspondents: “Are you going to tweet that I am back? Can’t I go on leave?”
When accosted for interview, the Chief of Staff declined, saying: “I don’t talk to the press. You know my job doesn’t allow me talking.’’
Kyari has been in the news in the last few weeks after he was accused of receiving N500M in bribe from mobile telephony firm, MTN.
